Trevor Husband moved to Vancouver when he was 18, where he engaged in a number of creative pursuits including creative writing, music, and acting. After 15 years in Vancouver, he settled in the Cowichan Valley and began to focus on visual art, taking up apprenticeship under Coast Salish artist, Herb Rice. He has since learned from renowned artists Corey Bulpitt and Ernest Swanson. Trevor works primarily in wood but has also created metal sculptures and silkscreen prints. When he's not carving, Trevor works at the Duncan Native Friendship Centre mentoring high-risk youth.
